Hugh Marbury will present at the Maryland State Bar Association's 2023 Legal Summit. Hugh will provide an overview of the process and strategy for U.S. and international commercial arbitration. The discussion will include drafting of arbitration provisions, arbitrator selection, scope of discovery, briefing and hearing strategy, as well as managing client expectations on cost, timing, and finality/appellate options. Comparisons between U.S. and international arbitration practice, as well as arbitrating intellectual property disputes, will also be covered.
