Kathy Jaffari will moderate the panel “ESG Update: Current Status and Considerations for What Comes Next” during a webinar hosted by the Environmental Law Committee of the Philadelphia Bar Association. The session will explore the current status of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) issues, with a focus on the “E.” Panelists will discuss the state of ESG under the current administration and how enforcement has changed, as well as the increase in state environmental regulatory action, the role of private litigation, and environmental marketing claims and pitfalls to avoid when making ESG public statements and “green” marketing claims. The panel will also evaluate how international regulatory compliance is impacting U.S. business practices.
