David Barron was featured in The Houston Lawyer magazine, discussing his passion for adventure and how it parallels his nearly 30-year career as a labor and employment attorney. David has negotiated collective bargaining agreements and litigated complex employment disputes but says those challenges pale in comparison to his hiking adventures around the world. Inspired by his son’s Boy Scout troop, David has since climbed Guadalupe Peak in the snow, hiked the Grand Canyon rim-to-rim in one day, and summited Pikes Peak in preparation for his trek to Everest Base Camp. Reflecting on the demanding journey, David shared his awe at the memorials honoring those who have lost their lives on Everest and noted that attempting a full summit “would be a whole other level.”
