Sarah Krissoff, a member in the firm’s White Collar Defense & Investigations practice, spoke with Gothamist on October 21 about Rep. Dan Goldman’s (D-NY) recent letter to the New York City police Commissioner, calling for the NYPD to prepare to potentially arrest federal ICE agents if they unlawfully detain or arrest city residents.

“The NYPD cannot be utilized to police the federal police,” said Sarah, adding that “if the NYPD was allowed to do so, they are not equipped or trained to make determinations about the lawfulness of the actions of the ICE agents.”
