The goal is to reduce formal inspections and enforcement actions by helping businesses build strong internal safety cultures.
“It is not surprising that the Trump administration is focusing more on compliance than enforcement, and adjustments to the VPP is another example of that renewed focus.” John noted. John described VPP as “the safety and health gold standard for businesses,” noting that while participation is generally free, “it involves a comprehensive process including inviting OSHA to your facility for review.”
