Following a lengthy trial, Sean Combs was acquitted of racketeering and sex-trafficking, but was found guilty of lesser prostitution-related offenses. Sarah Krissoff, a member of the firm’s White Collar Defense & Investigations practice, spoke with Reuters after the trial. “The jury may have viewed Combs' conduct as evidence of toxic romantic relationships, but not sex trafficking,” she said. U.S. District Judge Arun Subramanian rejected the defense's request for bail, and ruled that “Diddy” should remain in jail until his sentencing on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution.
