Ken Fisher is quoted in the New York Real Estate Journal article covering the groundbreaking of the United Jewish Organizations (UJO) of Williamsburg and North Brooklyn’s new social services headquarters. The five-story, 19,400-square-foot facility includes offices, classrooms, conference rooms, a call center, and support spaces. The project, valued at approximately $9.3 million, is UJO’s first owned property and allows the organization to deliver up to 120,000 units of service annually.
Ken stated, “Throughout the years, the United Jewish Organizations of Williamsburg–and its respected executive director, Rabbi David Niederman–have had a singular focus, helping those in need of help. How this is done evolves, but the mission is unchanged. This new home positions UJO for the decades ahead.”
Ken’s remarks reflect his background as a former New York City Council member for Brooklyn.
