Cozen O'Connor’s Intellectual Property Department has again been included in the World Trademark Review 1000 (WTR 1000). Amy Divino, Lisa Ferrari, Ashley Kessler, Lorraine Linford, Camille Miller, Melanie Miller, and Edward Weisz were named to the WTR 1000 for 2026.
The WTR 1000 identifies the leading professionals and firms that are esteemed at obtaining, protecting, managing, enforcing and monetizing trademarks. To research the market, WTR undertakes an exhaustive qualitative research project, conducting interviews and exchanging correspondence with industry leaders to identify outstanding firms and individuals. Firms qualify for a listing on the basis of their depth of experience, market presence, and the level of work on which they are typically instructed. While all included firms and individuals are leaders in their field, the WTR 1000 has devised Gold, Silver, and Bronze bandings to reflect diversity of services within the top end of the market.
The Pennsylvania IP practice was awarded a Silver banding in the WTR 1000 for 2026. Melanie Miller and Camille Miller were recognized for excellence within the Silver banding for their work in this category. Melanie Miller was acknowledged for her “sharp focus on litigation” and “finely honed advocacy skills,” which she uses to resolve complex disputes “swiftly and effectively.” Meanwhile, Camille Miller was highlighted for being a “go-to source of practical guidance” who plays an “invaluable role in managing a large and complex trademark portfolio, offering prompt and sound advice on infringement risks, registration logistics, and general counsel to marketing teams.”
The New York IP practice was awarded a Bronze banding for prosecution and strategy. Amy Divino, Lisa Ferrari, Ashley Kessler, and Edward Weisz were recognized for their work in this category. Edward Weisz was acknowledged for his insight, fairness, and trustworthiness as he manages clearance, international prosecution, and enforceability for The Tennis Channel. The WTR 1000 highlighted Ashley Kessler for her advising on trademark and licensing across sectors, noting her key role in securing a licensing agreement between jewelry brand Stephanie Gottlieb and musician Taylor Swift. Lisa Ferrari was recognized for her attention to detail and her unsurpassed “ability to understand and properly prosecute the technical nature of products,” and Amy Divino was acknowledged for her global brand protection programs and “incisive, results-driven counsel” across sectors.
