CHERRY HILL, N.J., Jan. 7, 2026 — Cozen O’Connor Public Strategies, the bipartisan government relations and communications affiliate of international law firm Cozen O’Connor, today announced the addition of Braxton Plummer as principal in its Cherry Hill office.

Plummer brings extensive experience in local, state, and federal government affairs, public policy, and political strategy. In his new role, Plummer will support the firm’s growing New Jersey practice and strengthen its ability to serve clients across the region.

Plummer most recently served as director of state and local government affairs at Verizon, where he developed and implemented multi-state political strategies and managed relationships with policymakers and influencers. Previously, he served as senior advisor to the commissioner at the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs, focusing on economic and social revitalization efforts in Atlantic City. His background also includes roles with the New Jersey Economic Development Authority, the Office of Governor Jon Corzine, and senior positions on statewide political campaigns.
Plummer earned his Bachelor of Arts in political science from Montclair State University and completed graduate coursework in public administration.
