Matt is a seasoned labor and employment attorney, experienced in litigation, agency investigations, and employment counseling. He prioritizes client-centered strategies, aiming for efficient resolutions and early dismissals through thorough case evaluation and tailored approaches.

Matt handles a wide range of employment law matters, including discrimination, wage and hour disputes, and compliance issues, including those involving Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and the Fair Labor Standards Act. He has represented clients involved in investigations by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the National Labor Relations Board.

Matt routinely provides proactive counsel on personnel decisions, employee handbooks, workplace policies and procedures, and non-competition agreements, and offers presentations and training on matters such as harassment prevention and social media in the workplace.

Matt earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Kentucky and his juris doctor, magna cum laude and Order of the Coif, from the University of Kentucky College of Law, where he was a member of the Kentucky Law Journal. He is currently licensed to practice law in Kentucky.
