Danielle Goebel

Counsel

Danielle concentrates her practice on labor and employment matters, bringing more than a decade of experience in private practice and as in-house corporate counsel.

Most recently, Danielle served as associate general counsel for a northeastern railroad, where she managed a complex and diverse litigation portfolio, including high-stakes employment disputes, whistleblower charges, commercial litigation, and personal injury claims. She directed and partnered with outside counsel to develop defense strategies, accurately assess corporate exposure, and lead internal compliance initiatives, including ethics investigations, management training, and policy development. She also provided counsel to human resources on critical employment issues such as ADA accommodations, employee discipline, discrimination investigations, and the drafting of high-level employment and separation agreements for senior staff.

Prior to her in-house tenure, Danielle was a partner in the Litigation and Labor & Employment practice groups of a full service law firm headquartered in Philadelphia. In this role, she litigated employment cases from the administrative phase through resolution, advising a wide range of employers in highly regulated industries like banking and health care, and conducting sensitive investigations into allegations of discrimination and corporate non-compliance.

Danielle earned her J.D., cum laude, from Temple University's Beasley School of Law, where she was the executive editor of the Temple Political & Civil Rights Law Review. She earned her B.A., also cum laude, in history and political science from Knox College.
