With more than three decades of experience handling high profile defense cases and large, complex subrogation cases, John is a seasoned litigator with extensive trial experience, having attained status as a Certified Civil Trial Attorney for over 15 years.

Prior to joining Cozen O’Connor, John served as a partner and supervising attorney for a house counsel firm with one of the world’s largest property and casualty insurers, where he handled all facets of civil litigation. His practice focused on large, complex subrogation matters, and he acted as head of the subrogation unit with his former firm.

John then practiced as a civil litigator with a mid-sized firm in New Jersey before moving to the house counsel firm of a global insurance company. John has handled well over 25 jury trials to verdict and attained the position of a named partner at his former firm. His practice has focused on subrogation cases, where he not only managed a large caseload of complex cases, but he led the subrogation unit at his former firm, supervising and mentoring other associates.
