Darren concentrates his practice on corporate and securities law, advising clients on a broad range of transactional and regulatory matters, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, and public offerings. He also assists companies with day-to-day business matters, such as corporate governance, compliance, and commercial contracting.
Darren has experience counseling clients across various industries including technology, entertainment, mining, digital assets, and life sciences on issues related to continuous disclosure, stock exchange compliance, and corporate governance best practices. He works with both private and public companies at all stages of growth, from emerging businesses and startups to established enterprises.
Before joining Cozen O’Connor, Darren practiced in the Toronto office of an international law firm. Darren earned his J.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School at York University and his B.A. in Political Science from the University of British Columbia.
