Erica focuses her practice on commercial litigation. She represents clients in a variety of complex commercial disputes, including breach of contract, products liability, consumer protection, corporate governance, fraud, and professional negligence. Erica has experience in all phases of pretrial practice, including drafting pleadings and discovery requests, taking and defending depositions, motions in limine, Frye motions, and dispositive motions and responses. Erica has experience before both federal and state courts, as well as the American Arbitration Association. Additionally, Erica has strategically negotiated and settled numerous cases on favorable terms to her clients.
Before joining the firm, Erica served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Jerrold N. Poslusny, Jr., U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Jersey, where she gained valuable experience in drafting opinions and memoranda, conducting legal research, and managing the judge’s motions calendar. Her casework included complex Chapter 11 matters involving businesses navigating bankruptcy, including first-day motions, sale and bidding procedures, and creditors' rights. This experience provided her with a deep understanding of the challenges businesses face during bankruptcy proceedings.
Throughout law school, Erica also interned for the Honorable Vincent F. Papalia, U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Jersey.
Prior to her legal career, Erica worked as a global advertising sales coordinator and associate at The Wall Street Journal & Dow Jones Co., where she honed her skills in client relations and project management.
Erica earned her bachelor’s degree from Colby College and her law degree from Rutgers Law School.
