Marlee is a dedicated associate who draws on the skills they developed during their two summers with the firm. Before beginning law school, Marlee worked as a staff assistant and voter protection assistant for the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee and as an operations associate for the Democratic National Committee.
Marlee earned their J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center, where they were managing editor of the Georgetown Journal of Law & Modern Critical Race Perspectives. As a Student Attorney with the Georgetown Law Criminal Defense & Prisoner Advocacy Clinic, Marlee represented indigent clients facing trial in misdemeanor cases in D.C. Superior Court and clients facing revocation hearings before the U.S. Parole Commission. Marlee also assisted individuals who have served decades in prison with their re-entry plan. Marlee was previously a legal extern for the Federal Election Commission and a research assistant for a Georgetown Law faculty member. Marlee was active in student organizations on campus, serving as the Internal Vice President for Georgetown Law’s Asian Pacific American Law Students Association and as a mentor for underrepresented students at Georgetown.
Marlee graduated magna cum laude from the University of California, Santa Cruz, where they earned degrees in politics (with a concentration in political theory) and in legal studies.
