Maura is a seasoned and versatile attorney with multifaceted experience representing national corporations, healthcare providers, and commercial enterprises in high-stakes litigation, corporate counseling, and regulatory compliance. She brings a sophisticated, business-minded approach to the legal strategy, delivering practical and effective solutions to complex legal issues across diverse industries.
Prior to rejoining the firm in 2025, Maura served as counsel for a global electrical and industrial manufacturer, where she was the primary legal advisor for multiple business units generating over $6 billion in revenue. In this role, Maura led all legal functions across the global portfolio, including contract negotiation, regulatory compliance, intellectual property, risk management, incident management, quality control, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, and labor and employment relations. Her ability to integrate legal risk assessment with corporate objectives enables her to proactively mitigate liability while supporting operational success.
Earlier in her career with the firm, Maura represented employers in class action and individual lawsuits or EEOC matters involving claims, including Title VII, FMLA, FLSA, ADA, and ADEA. She served as national in-house counsel to a long-term care company, managing national litigation and overseeing a wide array of corporate and regulatory legal matters related to both insured and uninsured case portfolios. She also served as trial counsel to multiple health care providers in defense of professional liability claims, including custodial abuse and neglect, wrongful death, and failure to diagnose. Additionally, Maura represented contractors, developers, subcontractors, and design professionals in multimillion-dollar construction defect lawsuits across Florida.
Maura earned her B.S., magna cum laude, from the University of Pittsburgh, and her J.D. from the Duquesne University School of Law.
