Jeff is an experienced attorney who practices civil litigation and insurance coverage matters. His extensive courtroom experience includes trying dozens of cases to verdict, settling and disputing hundreds of cases, conducting discovery, and attending mediations for cases involving the defense of civil defendants in products liability, oil and gas, commercial, and premises liability matters. Jeff has also served as a mediator and arbitrator in over a hundred matters.
Jeff also served five years as a judge for the 189th Civil District Court in Harris County, Texas. He conducted civil trials and has heard various matters including mass tort dockets, employment matters, insurance coverage issues, products liability, construction, oil & gas, and commercial litigation cases.
Jeff is currently a director of the board of the State Bar of Texas and has been ranked as a Texas Super Lawyer for multiple years.
Jeff earned his J.D. in 1988 from Baylor University School of Law, where he was senior class president and a clerk for the U.S. Attorney's Office. He received his B.A., cum laude, from Oklahoma Baptist University in 1984.
