This webinar will focus on the standards of care and requirements for chimneys under key codes and regulations, including NFPA 211, ASTM, UL, IRC, IBC, and state and local codes. The presenters will discuss the consequences that installers and inspectors face when these codes and standards are not followed, as well as the subrogation opportunities that arise from non-compliance. The webinar will also highlight the role of chimney experts in investigating and providing opinions on violations, and emphasize the importance of determining the origin and cause of chimney fires.
