Feigin comes to the firm from Crowell & Moring, where he chaired the Corporate and Israel practices. Beyond his work for U.S.-based clients, he has an extensive track record of representing Israeli, European, and other foreign-based entities and investment funds doing business in the United States. For 25-plus years, he has facilitated the flow of business involving Israel-related companies, investors, and entrepreneurs by representing scores of cutting-edge Israel-based companies, serving as their U.S. counsel and cultivating and leveraging a vast network for the benefit of such clients.

“Sam’s exceptional market knowledge and extensive business and legal networks domestically and abroad, make him the perfect choice to play a leading role in our expansion efforts,” said Michael J. Heller, Cozen O’Connor’s Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. “His extensive background in representing global brands and facilitating business operations across various industries, coupled with experience in handling a range of corporate transactions and executive employment arrangements and other employment matters will be invaluable as we continue to grow and serve our clients' diverse needs. We are thrilled to have Sam on board and look forward to the significant contributions he will make as our Strategic Growth Partner.” As the firm’s Strategic Growth Partner, Feigin will work directly with Heller and the firm’s Managing Partner Vincent R. McGuinness, Jr. to enhance firmwide competitiveness, analyze market dynamics, and seize growth opportunities across geographies and practices.

“Our Israel Practice is dedicated to serving the diverse legal needs of Israeli companies, entrepreneurs, and investors who focus or aspire to focus on the U.S. markets, as well as U.S. companies and investors with Israel-related interests,” said Jeffrey A. Leonard co-chair of the firm’s Business Law Department. “Sam brings to us a deep understanding of Israel's dynamic business landscape, a vast network in the Israel-U.S. business ecosystem, and an unparalleled resume when it comes to advising clients who operate in that ecosystem, as well as a proven track record of handling an array of cross-border transactions. He’s perfectly suited to lead this practice and address the full spectrum of issues Israel-related businesses face at every stage of the corporate life cycle. I’m excited to welcome him to Cozen O’Connor.”

Feigin also brings deep experience handling labor and employment matters, both within and outside the transactional context. His employment work includes advising on executive employment and equity arrangements, employment policies, employee crises and disputes, reductions in force, and non-competition and trade secrets matters.

“A major transaction, be it a joint venture or an M&A deal, brings with it a host of corporate and employment concerns, and an experienced practitioner like Sam can identify a range of critical issues at the outset and guide the client through the straits of the deal to optimize the results,” said Larry P. Laubach, co-chair of the firm’s Corporate Practice Group. “Whether forming a new entity, raising capital, entering a business relationship, or structuring and executing a transformational deal, Sam has the proven ability to provide clients the guidance they need to achieve their business goals. He’s a great addition to Cozen O’Connor and I’m really looking forward to working with him.”

Celebrated for his accomplishments and standing in both the corporate and employment arenas, Feigin has been recognized by numerous top-level legal entities, including Chambers USA (Corporate/M&A and Private Equity) and Super Lawyers (employment), and The National Law Journal, which named him among 20 M&A and Antitrust “trailblazers” in the United States.

“I’m thrilled to join Cozen O’Connor and extremely enthusiastic about the great resources the firm will afford the clients with which I have the privilege of working and I’m excited to assist the firm with its expansion efforts,” Feigin said.
