Feigin comes to the firm from Crowell & Moring, where he chaired the Corporate and Israel practices.

Sam is an accomplished, results-driven corporate attorney who prioritizes achieving clients' business goals through strategic counseling, practical solutions, and effective negotiation. He routinely serves as outside general counsel and trusted adviser to public and private companies, investors, bankers, and the senior executives who serve on boards and lead their businesses as they attempt to seize opportunities and address challenges. Sam has extensive experience leading M&A, financing, and commercial transactions in the TMT, aerospace and defense, life science, and consumer product and service domains. In addition, Sam is a trained labor and employment attorney who advises clients on the gamut of issues, with a focus on the negotiation of executive employment arrangements and other matters involving senior executives, both in and outside the deal context. Sam also has deep experience guiding companies as they build, rebuild, and refine their legal functions, leadership teams, and broader workforces.

Sam serves as Cozen O'Connor's Strategic Growth Partner, working with the CEO and managing partner to enhance firmwide competitiveness, analyze market dynamics, expand client work, and seize growth opportunities across geographies and practices. Sam also serves as chair of the firm’s Israel Practice.

Sam manages the firm’s relationships with clients, proactively and assertively acting as each client’s advocate and consiglieri both within the firm and in the broader business world. He leverages daily his vast international network to connect clients with potential business partners from prospective investors to board members and CXOs to bankers, buyers and sellers. He has extensive experience representing Israeli, European, Indian, and other foreign-based entities and investment funds doing business in the United States, as well as those doing business with them. Sam has facilitated the flow of business involving Israel-related companies, investors, and entrepreneurs for more than 25 years. Sam has represented scores of cutting edge Israeli companies and those doing business with them; and he is deeply committed to the market.

Celebrated for his accomplishments and standing in both the corporate and employment arenas, Sam has been recognized by numerous top-tier publications, including Chambers USA (Corporate/M&A and Private Equity), Super Lawyers (employment), and The National Law Journal, which named him among 20 M&A and Antitrust "trailblazers" in the United States.

Before joining the firm, Sam chaired the Corporate department at a DC-based Am Law 100 international firm at which he also founded and led the firm’s Israel and Executive practices.

Sam earned his J.D. from the George Washington University Law School, where he was a Dean's Fellow and an articles editor of The George Washington Law Review. He earned his B.A. from Yale College cum laude with distinction in the major in political science.
