MIAMI, April 7, 2025 — Daniel Alvarez, an associate in the firm’s Construction Law Group, has been appointed vice chair of programming of the Health Care Disputes & Litigation Committee for the American Bar Association Litigation Section. The Health Care Disputes & Litigation Committee serves as a resource for health care and malpractice litigators to stay informed about current and emerging issues and trends in health care litigation. It provides quality and current programming content to its members through its newsletter, web updates, and round tables, as well as facilitates networking opportunities among health care litigators nationwide.
Daniel concentrates his practice on construction law and complex commercial litigation matters in state and federal courts throughout the United States. He has experience representing domestic and international general contractors, construction managers, sureties, and other construction professionals in the United States and abroad in negotiation, litigation, arbitration, and mediation of construction and design defect claims, insurance claims, surety bond claims, and related matters. Additionally, he has experience in handling business torts, shareholder disputes, non-compete claims, consumer protection disputes, and health care litigation. Daniel has also assisted clients in handling business divorces stemming from M&A disputes and ancillary issues arising from M&A transactions.
