MIAMI – June 1, 2026 – As major, brand-name business enterprises continue to move their headquarters and other operations to South Florida, international law firm Cozen O’Connor announces corporate attorney Raphael Rosenzweig — who has counseled a diverse range of clients in the retail, health care, technology, manufacturing, and home services industries — has joined its Corporate Practice Group. Rosenzweig, who comes to the firm from Seyfarth Shaw LLP, joins Cozen O’Connor as a member and will work out of its Miami office.
Rosenzweig brings to the firm more than a decade of national-level experience leading a wide range of corporate transactions. Regularly advising on the legal and strategic considerations of an acquisition or disposition transaction, he often serves as the primary client contact, from the initial Letter of Intent to the transaction’s closing. Rosenzweig’s background also includes drafting and negotiating complex commercial contracts, including joint venture agreements. In addition, Rosenzweig’s background includes representing entities in equity transactions, operating agreements, stockholders’ agreements, and other corporate matters. He has recently advised clients on matters relating to business succession and separation of founders.
“Due to a combination of tax incentives and business-friendly policies, Florida currently leads the country in business headquarters relocations. There’s been a flurry of activity in the past year involving enterprises ranging from technology, health care, and finance to green energy and sports,” said Larry P. Laubach, co-chair of the firm’s Corporate Practice Group. “Raffi brings a proven track record of providing sophisticated counsel to a diverse array of public and private companies and entrepreneurs in an equally diverse range of industries. His experience handling transactions impacting so many different industries makes him an important and welcome addition to our practice group.”
“With the ongoing and rapid expansion of South Florida’s business community, adding an attorney with the transactional background Raffi brings further solidifies our corporate team,” said Jason Domark, office managing partner of the firm’s Miami office. “From matters involving corporate governance and commercial finance, to private equity and mergers and acquisitions, Raffi will help us enhance and expand the firm’s influence and footprint throughout the state of Florida.”
“It’s a pleasure to be joining one of the most respected corporate practice groups in North America, and to be part of the ongoing and exciting business expansion taking place in South Florida,” Rosenzweig said. “I find it rewarding to work closely with my clients to structure what are oftentimes transformational deals that help them achieve their goals. I’m very happy to join Cozen O’Connor.”
Rosenzweig earned his J.D at Harvard Law School, an M.S. in education at the Azrieli School of Education, Yeshiva University, and a B.A. in literature with a minor in business from Yeshiva University.
