Austin assists clients with their litigation needs. He has represented clients on a wide variety of litigation matters, including contract disputes, shareholder disputes, real estate disputes, employment disputes, and inheritance litigation. He has extensive experience in commencing lawsuits, assisting clients through the litigation process, negotiating and drafting settlement agreements for clients, and serving as both plaintiffs' and defendants' counsel through all stages of the litigation process.
Austin joined Cozen O'Connor in 2026 along with his colleagues from Moss & Barnett. Previously, he took on a wide variety of litigation matters at a full-service law firm in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Austin earned his B.S. in criminal justice, summa cum laude, from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, graduating in just three years after spending three years playing professional baseball in the Minnesota Twins minor league system. He earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from Marquette University Law School, where he was an editor of the Marquette Law Review and earned CALI awards in five subjects. While in law school, Austin clerked for a federal district court judge in the Eastern District of Wisconsin. He also holds a Sports Law Certification from the National Sports Law Institute.
