Bethany joined Cozen O'Connor in 2026 along with her colleagues from Moss & Barnett. Previously, she gained valuable family law experience serving for three years as a clerk to the Honorable Richard Stebbins, Referee of Hennepin County Family Court.
Bethany earned her J.D., cum laude, from Mitchell Hamline School of Law. During law school, Bethany served as a student attorney with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, as a law clerk to the Honorable Richard Kyle, Jr. in Criminal Court in the Second District, and as a judicial intern to the Honorable Michael K. Browne in Hennepin County Family Court. Bethany earned her B.A., with honors, from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. Between her undergraduate and graduate degrees, she gained experience in the nonprofit sector assisting and advocating for juvenile survivors of sexual exploitation and trafficking. This high-stakes work included 24/7 crisis response, court advocacy, and developing critical agency protocols while collaborating extensively with law enforcement and social service professionals.
